We are proud to say we offer a premium Internet service, at a very affordable price.

To have an internet connection through WISH Networks you require an outdoor wireless uplink. Should you not own any hardware already, do not worry, our technicians take care of everything during installation. If you have hardware that is already installed and we have determined that it will work on our network, we will only charge you a configuration fee subject to the complexity of the configuration.

Internet subscriptions are billed on a calendar month basis. Select one of the packages below. We charge one price, all inclusive, you get the speed and data you pay for. No frills, no fuss, no hidden terms and industry jargon.

Maximum line speed is set as per selected package. Please note that speeds are dependent on environmental factors, and is not guaranteed.

Any usage that exceeds your chosen soft cap quota will not be charged, however your speed will be severely lowered (128kbps - 384kbps depending on package) once your soft cap quota has been reached. Additional data can be purchased to restore the speed by contacting us.

A debit order payment agreement is required for packages larger than 16GB and a 30 day cancellation notice period is applicable for all of these packages. Packages can be changed monthly by giving prior notice.

Get installed

Getting installed consists of the following steps:

Book a site visit

To have an internet connection through WISH Networks you require an outdoor wireless uplink (802.11a/n compatible, with a gain of between 16 and 23dbi), and most people get a wireless router for the inside of their home, to which they then connect all their own devices. We can schedule for a technician to visit your premises and conduct a signal test to determine if you have a good signal and what hardware you will require. Should you not own any hardware already, do not worry, our technicians take care of everything during installation. If you have hardware that is already installed and we have determined that it will work on our network, we will only charge you a configuration fee subject to the complexity of the configuration.

Review the quote sent

If the technician confirms that we will be able to provide you with a connection at your premises a quotation is emailed. A 50% deposit may be required when a quotation is approved.

Accept quote and confirm installation date

If the quotation is accepted we schedule a date for a technician to visit you and install the quoted hardware. We will need you to complete the application forms before the installation can take place. The installation can take up to three hours. We require the client to be present for the entire duration of the installation.

Surf your heart out

The monthly data package as chosen by you gets loaded prior to the installation (which is why we need your application forms). You will be able to make use of your data package as soon as the technician is finished with the installation.

We will send you an email with the client portal details which you can use to log in and monitor your data usage.

The monthly data gets reloaded on the 1st of each month and does not carry over to the next month.

What is installed?

The installation consists of a main Internet  uplink,  cables, power supplies and  a wireless access point(s). The access  point  provides  wireless/wired  connectivity inside the premises. Each access point is set up with a private password which is chosen by the client during the installation process. The WISH technicians have become experts at performing installations with minimal aesthetical effect on the building, but we prefer to have work pre-approved prior to an installation starting.  We therefore request that the client be present during the entire course of the installation.

Subscription terms

  • Accounts are billed monthly in advance; you pay at the end of the month for the next month.
  • A debit order payment agreement is required for packages larger than 16GB
  • Unfortunately bandwidth does not carry over to the next month.
  • You can change your data package for the upcoming month by notifying us before the 20th of the current month.
  • Accounts are automatically reloaded on the first of each month unless a notification was received to change a package.
  • You can suspend your account for up to six consecutive months without any additional payment or fees.
  • There is no fixed contract, no cancellation fees, but some packages might have a 30 day cancellation period applicable.
  • Unless arranged otherwise your account can be suspended if outstanding for more than 30 days. The account can be reactivated as soon as proof of payment has been received.
  • We suggest that payment is made by the start of each month or a debit order set up if you think that you may forget to pay on time. We do not like having to suspend accounts in arrears!
  • When you pay 6 months in advance, your seventh month is free!

Business clients

The same monthly costs apply but we have the following extra options available:

Gateway Management Device

Should a business require fall back in the event of an outage, two Internet connections can be connected to this device, with the device managing the two connections, switching automatically to the backup connection if the primary becomes unavailable.

Premium Billed Service

Never get throttled. You will receive an email when the account limit  is reached, but you will not get throttled. The extra amount used is simply calculated at the end of the month.​

Debit Order, and a consent email is required before activation. R100 Service fee and extra GBs are charged at the effective cost per GB for that package.

Custom Packages

Should you require a connection at speeds greater than the standard packages offer, or at bigger data sizes, please contact us for a tailor-made business package best suited to your business requirements. Speeds of up to 20Mbps are available.

Public IPs

Not included in the std pricing. Speak to us about what you need it for, maybe we can present an alternative, otherwise it merely gets added as an extra service fee.

FUP

Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

 
The Fair Usage Policy applies to uncapped subscribers using uncapped services.

Actual line speeds could vary on the wireless network due to environmental conditions, interference, or network load. But the maximum line speed should be achievable most of the time.

Subscriber line speed will be reduced as per the table below in a tiered manner, based on total data used during a calendar month. Once a subscriber has reached the FUP threshold, as detailed below, the available line speed will be reduced accordingly.

The service will then continue to be provided at the FUP rate limit until the end of the month, and will reset on the 1st day of the new month.

The unlimited service is FUP-exempt, meaning the line speed will never be reduced during the month, regardless of usage.

Uncapped Lite Data Packages:
2Mbps = At 50GB consumed the line speed is reduced to 0.5Mbps
4Mbps = At 50GB consumed the line speed is reduced to 0.5Mbps
8Mbps = At 50GB consumed the line speed is reduced to 0.5Mbps

Uncapped Data Packages:
2Mbps = At 100GB consumed the line speed is reduced to 0.5Mbps
4Mbps = At 100GB consumed the line speed is reduced to 0.5Mbps
8Mbps = At 100GB consumed the line speed is reduced to 0.5Mbps
15Mbps = At 200GB consumed the line speed is reduced to 0.5Mbps

Premium Uncapped Data Packages:
4Mbps = At 200GB consumed the line speed is reduced to 1Mbps Up / 2Mbps Down
8Mbps = At 400GB consumed the line speed is reduced to 1Mbps Up / 2Mbps Down
15Mbps = At 800GB consumed the line speed is reduced to 1Mbps Up / 2Mbps Down

Unlimited Data Packages:
No Fair Usage Limits Exist. Full line speed always.

Boosters

Boosters can be bought on all Uncapped, Uncapped Lite, or Premium packages.

Boosters are applicable once the Fair Usage Policy has been reached, and the speed of the connection limited.

The booster restores to service to it's full speed again for a certain amount of data.

Restore the speed for another 10GB @ R100, 15GB @ R150 or 25GB @ R250.
